Philip Guido joined Brighton Park Capital as a Senior Advisor in April of 2021. Phil is an accomplished business executive with over 30 years of industry experience, focusing on aligning business strategies and driving operational excellence. He is known for his ability to grow businesses, deliver value to customers and partners and lead large-scale transformation initiatives. Phil's extensive background in enterprise technology and strong industry relationships make him an invaluable leader in helping clients achieve business value through technology adoption and new ways of working.
Currently, Phil serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at AMD, leading the global sales organization. Prior to this role, he was General Manager, Global Managing Partner of Strategic Sales at IBM Consulting, where he expanded IBM's partnerships with enterprise customers. Throughout his 30-year tenure at IBM, Phil held multiple leadership positions, including General Manager of IBM North America, responsible for overseeing $40B in revenue, and Worldwide General Manager of Infrastructure Services Business. His diverse experience at IBM also includes serving as Chief of Staff to former IBM Chairman and CEO, Louis V. Gerstner Jr.
Phil earned a degree in Economics from Montclair State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. He also holds a certificate in International Business from the University of Copenhagen. Phil is an active participant in the David Rockefeller Fellows Program in New York City and serves on the board of the NPower Gala Committee, further demonstrating his commitment to business leadership and social responsibility.
